Itching is misery — and scratching only makes it worse. This maximum-strength 1% hydrocortisone cream calms the itch-scratch cycle from eczema, poison ivy, insect bites, and irritation, enriched with aloe to comfort skin while it works.

Why it’s the medicine-cabinet MVP

  • Maximum OTC strength — the strongest hydrocortisone available without a prescription.
  • Multi-purpose relief: eczema flares, rashes, bug bites, poison ivy, and minor irritation.
  • Aloe-enriched formula soothes as it treats — no sting on application.
  • Fragrance-free and suitable for sensitive skin.

Apply a thin layer up to 3–4 times daily. FSA/HSA eligible. If a rash spreads or persists beyond 7 days, have a doctor take a look.

Adults and children 2 years and older: apply to affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily.

Active: Hydrocortisone 1%. Inactive: aloe barbadensis leaf juice, cetyl alcohol, glycerin, white petrolatum, purified water.

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Stop use and ask a doctor if condition worsens or lasts more than 7 days.

What can I use hydrocortisone cream for?

Itching and minor inflammation from eczema, dermatitis, insect bites, poison ivy/oak, jewelry irritation, and mild rashes.

How long can I use it?

Up to 7 days on an area. If the rash persists, spreads, or worsens, stop and see a doctor rather than continuing.

Can I use it on my face?

Briefly and sparingly on small irritated areas, but avoid eyelids and around the eyes. For facial rashes lasting more than a couple of days, ask a professional.

Is it okay for children?

Yes for ages 2 and up as directed. For diaper rash, don't use hydrocortisone unless a pediatrician specifically advises it.
